The Immortals Collection (The Immortals #1-4)
For all its downfalls, I did enjoy the romance (narcissism aside) and the concept of Summerland… but besides that I found the rest irritating. If this novel had turned out to be a clunky read, I would have tossed it unfinished; but, upon completion I got the satisfaction of having made it to the end, and it was, superficially, a pleasant story.
Damen, the love interest, was way too perfect and as much as I indulged in the fantasy, I was also making gagging noises while reading. I wanted to like him, but in the end just felt like I been served an overly large helping of cheese.
There wit and one-liners helped redeem Alyson Noel’s book. But she has the subtly in metaphor as a brick to the side of the head. There is no intellectual symbolism here.
I've read all of the books in this series and really, really liked them! Ever is just a normal girl until she becomes the only survivor of a car accident that kills her entire family. After the accident she can see people's auras hear their thoughts and know their entire life story with one touch. After moving in with her aunt, Sabine, Ever starts life at a new high school where she is deemed a freak by everyone except for a fellow new kid at school, Damen who has the answers she has been
I fell in love with this series. I was entranced by the romantic love story, and the continuing struggles faced. The magic is amazing, and the story traps you and makes you feel like anything is possible.
5/5 stars i thought this series was really unique as i have never read anything like this before. the storlyline was interesing and easy to follow they were fairly wuick reads and i just loved the dinamics between roman and ever and between ever and haven at the ending of the series i wont say anything more because i dont give spoilers in my reviews so yer.
I can't wait to read this series everyone says it is so good!!
The last book I didn't care for as much as the others. It dragged on and on. But the rest of the books I loved.
Loved the first book, second was okay, the rest....nope. I have the entire series on my bookshelf and cannot bring myself to finish it.

Narrative In Pursuance Of Books The Immortals Collection (The Immortals #1-4)
It wasn't very unique, in fact, ‘Evermore’ was extremely derivative of most Young Adult books, and therefore felt entirely predictable, monotone and two-dimensional.For all its downfalls, I did enjoy the romance (narcissism aside) and the concept of Summerland… but besides that I found the rest irritating. Pretty good! I started reading this series because I heard that the sequel series was awesome. I'm part of a French Book Club and they all recommend this author for the next series, but I couldn't read the other series without first reading this one. It's not bad! Pretty interesting that the immortals are just that and not some spooky undead thing. It does follow a high school girl that obviously makes more bad decisions than good ones, but if she didn't, how much fun would that be?
