Ilustration In Pursuance Of Books Relatively Famous (Famous #1)

Sydney Tannen seems to have it all. As the daughter of Hollywood royalty, she grew up with money, looks, and fame. But with that also came stalkers breaking into her bedroom, paparazzi running her dad’s car off the road, and multiple kidnapping attempts. Her seemingly glamorous childhood was far from perfect.

At age twelve, her mom quits acting and moves Sydney to New York City, changing her last name to hide her from the craziness and danger. Now twenty-four, Sydney still keeps her identity a secret, not getting close enough to anyone for them to figure out who she is. Yet when she meets the gorgeous Drew Forrester in a chance encounter, she has to decide if it’s time to let someone in or if it’s better to stay alone forever.

Crit Containing Books Relatively Famous (Famous #1)
I read a lot of books... I really mean a lot (like 20-25 a month a lot). Only a few stories stick in my mind and stay with me. These are the books I will go re-read over and over when I need comfort... Well this one, my friends, just was added to my comfort list! I love Drew and his patience with Sydney. Secrets on both sides were necessary and such an integral part to the story. I absolutely loved this book! I can't wait for book 2. I need to complete their journey in my head! It's such a

Sydney's childhood has a lot of traumatic memories. Although her parents loved her dearly and did everything they could to protect her, Sydney did not come out of it unscathed, constantly swarmed by media attention and their invasive methods to get close to her. Her mom and dad were mega movie stars so once Sydney is moved out of the spotlight, she shuns all kind of gossip or media surrounding Hollywood related news. She prefers to keep her past a secret and live her life as someone who blends

I usually refuse to read a book that has a cliff hanger. For some reason this one drew me in and wouldn't let me go. Fortunately for me the author created something I thought was only a myth, an actual kinder & gentler cliffy! Just enough to keep me interested in the next installment but not so bad that i become crazy as a woman in the middle of her monthly visit with no chocolate in site.......Well done Miz Leigh.

http://www.cocktailsandbooks.com/I received a copy of the book to review for Cocktails and Books.RELATIVELY FAMOUS is an absorbing story that pulled me in the first page. When Sydney meets Drew, she finds it hard to resist his charming smile and protective ways. Sydney is the daughter of one of Hollywoods most infamous couples. She lives anonymously in New York with few friends, because she has learned the hard way, not to trust anyone. Sydney lives in constant fear of people finding out who she

In some ways, this is a difficult review to write as I'm way outside the author's target audience. However, judged on its own merits and by the standards of the genre, it certainly ticks all the boxes. I found the characters engaging, and the 'action' scenes well-executed. I'm not too sure that I like the first-person present tense, but I think that's pretty subjective and I wouldn't knock any marks off for it. There are exotic locations, intrigue and unexpected twists, and I'm sure that fans of
