I read it a year ago and I got back to my childhood. Imaginative, childish and full of wonders. A must-read-book for children.i would recommend to every one to read this piece of writing. a must read book

Had it not been for Greene, we, as a collective human race, would have been deprived of the extraordinary beauty of simplicity and sincerity in prose and literature. THE SLIGHTLY ABRIGED VERSION OF SWAMI AND FRIENDS THIS BOOK IS FANTASTIC
I got Malgudi School Days as an award on December 3rd 2010. Since I had no other book to read, I started on with this one. I am not sure what I feel about this book because:1) There was no storyline. 2) There was too much exaggeration. 3) There was no ending.I wonder why my school would select a book that has very little to offer.What did I learn from this book?1st grade boys could be rebellious when provoked.
A super slow but fun classic to read.
