Description In Favor Of Books Tears of the Broken (Dark Secrets #1.1)

Book no longer in print. Please see "Dark Secrets" by A.M. Hudson for this book and The Knight of the Rose, now combined.

"Powerfully integrated vampire series."

An epic romantic fantasy. The entire series is a journey to watch one girl grow and find that love is something you fight for, not a gift you can take for granted, combined with a sexy vampire and a deeper, darker mystery lurking underneath it all.

Vampires do not care about the myths people believe. They feed on humans, walk in the daylight, and no, they certainly do not sparkle. The only problem is, they don't usually fall in love with their food, either. But David Knight is about to discover that love knows nothing of morals or laws.

When Ara-Rose learns the truth about her boyfriend, David, she will be forced into a world of death and secrecy. Living each day on a path lit by predictability, Ara had never imagined such nightmares could exist. Now, her fate is measured by a choice between eternal love and a normal life, a decision she only has until the end of the summer to make.

Criticize Appertaining To Books Tears of the Broken (Dark Secrets #1.1)
(4.5 Rating) This is a very intense, intriguing, and sometimes emotional read! It kept me thinking and guessing. The main character Ara's past issues really make you feel for her as a young girl that has had her whole world turned upside down! A.M. Hudson does a great job of getting the reader invested in the characters. While reading I was reminded of Twilight a bit which was eventually referenced in the storyline. This first installment of the Dark Secrets Series ends with a cliff hanger... I

LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!!!! The author takes you on such an amazing journey with Ara and David. Even though it is literaly love at first site, the author allows you plenty of time to get to know each character and fall in love with their story. I loved how Ara was able to pull away from "the darkness" and find the light again through David, even with the slight "bumps" in the road. I can' t wait to read book two and see where this story will lead! I would highly recommend to take a chance on

Well this book was really good and a very nice romantic story! I read it on my nook for free, so I figured I would try it, and I absolutely loved it! Can't wait to read the next one!

A very exciting beginning to what becomes an excellent series I couldn't put down. You begin to get to know the characters and develop relationships with each of them. Ends with you dying to get to the second book which does NOT disappoint!! 5 stars for Hudson! This series completely had me. Cannot WAIT for her 4th book!

I haven' t read but I know the Twilight series, so I couldn't but notice the similarly storyline. But I 've already downloaded the second book because I think it will make a difference. I'll know soon.. As for Ara's conflicted behavior I don't mind, yet. After all she is a teenager and traumatized as well.

I Had That Chessey Smile On My Facee As I Read This Book.. I Cant Wait To Find Out Whatt She DeCides To Do.. I Loved The Way Theyd Express There Feelings.. Good Read!

View guest post and excerpt on the blog!! http://www.supagurlbooks.blogspot.comThere was not a thing that I did not LOVE about this book. Extremely well written story. I totally got a feel for the world she has created. Story line flows well and easy to follow.'Ara' as she has shortened her name, she is very well developed. She stays true to who she is through out the story and you can see her growth. I loved her. She has lost someone dear to her and that plays into who she is now. David...
